From start to finish Brian was an absolute pleasure to deal with, no nonsense honest advice, efficient and professional service. We told Brian what we wanted and boy did he deliver! The quality of his workmanship is beautiful and we’re now left with a door that we’re so proud of, our house is no longer such an ugly duckling. Given the time and effort that went into creating our door, Brian’s work is extremely good value for money. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a door! Oh and his jokes aren’t half bad either! 5*, very happy customers!

  Brian created our lovely new door and was fabulous from start to finish. He gave us progress updates along the way and pictures of the door being made and was great on site. Turned up when they said, did a great job, lovely attention to detail with the mastic matching the grey door frame, quality locks. And the door itself looks just amazing.   Brian and his team were working on my neighbours house today and just as they were leaving he knocked on my door with a tortoise! It was lost and found under his van! They were heading off for the day and didnt know who he belonged to but were reluctant to leave it behind. It wasn't ours but we took the little thing in as he looked hungry. Turned out he was a very feisty tortoise and wanted to bite everyone! Just before Brian left he popped in to ask about the little chap and if he was eating and drinking. He wasn't as he was desperate to escape! But we agreed to help reunite him with his owner. Thankfully through the power of Facebook 'Billy' was reunited with his family who only lived 6 doors down within the hour. Apparently he's been grounded for a month ;-) thank you Brian for helping the little dude out - you no doubt saved his little life!

  I can not speak highly enough of Brian and all the team at The Front Door Shop ! I needed a bespoke made front door in oak for a porch I had built, and I was blown away with the finished result ! Hand made oak frame and glazed door, with old school style opening top window ( not something you'll ever get off the shelf anywhere ). I visited Brian's factory mid build to check on progress with my door, and by being shown around the workshop and other projects for other customers I could see the guys we're master craftsman ! The front door shop provide a supply and fit service, and I can honestly say my front door opens and closes as good and elegantly as any super car door in the world !!! Blown away with the quality , and over the moon with Brian and the guys at The Front Door Shop !!!! Everyone should have a bespoke made front door from these guys !!

  We had a door and the wide surrounding frame made. Brian did all the measurements and the frame and door fitted perfectly. The finished job is of a very high standard; we are delighted with it and everyone who sees it is very impressed.

  The best way to describe one of Brian's handcrafted doors is a thing of beauty! He is a master Craftsman and buying one of his doors will give your house true character that you won't get with a shop bought door or the dreaded PVC door. I would really recommend that anyone considering a new door pay Brian a visit where they can see first hand how his masterpieces are constructed. You won't want to go else where for a door! Brian gave us some really good advice on the best materials for our dream door and he was also able to build it exactly to our specifications.   I contacted the Front Door Shop as well as several other specialists when I needed a replacement double front door at my house. Brian from The Front Door Shop came to my house to inspect the requirements and gave me a competetive price and timeline for the installation of some solid Oak double doors and a bespoke Oak Frame. The service I received at every step of the process was exceptional. The fit and finish of the doors and sidelights is brilliant. It is a vast improvement over the modern Aluminium doors that were previously installed. I have to mention that where Brian & The Front Door Shop really excelled was in taking on a job that 3 other specialists had declined due to the complexities of installation (basically my front door is at first floor level situated within a Porch and is reached by a set of stairs) Brian not only took on the job but there was no harm or damage to the surrounding Porch and entranceway, this is where the other specialists had concerns. It is not often, nowadays, to come across a caring and skilled craftsman who takes huge pride in his work as a skilled Joiner.
