  Extremely happy with our new front door. Brian provided expert advice so that we got the exact style of door that we had been looking for. He was also able to make the side panel bespoke to match the overall design and kept in touch throughout the process to ensure we were happy with the details before installation. The door was fitted quickly and expertly with a professional eye for detail so that the completed job looks outstanding.   We found Brian's website via Google and thought his range of doors looked interesting. We rang him to discuss our project. We needed a door that would give a face lift to our renovation -a dilapidated bungalow that had lain empty for more than 5 years. We had an aperture with dimensions out of the normal that needed to be met. He spoke knowledgeably about the woods and the methods he used and invited us to his workshop to view the processes. Our question was would he be able to deliver the finished product to us as he wasn't local? Luckily he confirmed that he liked to deliver the finished products himself all part of his continuous care package. We were intrigued and very glad to visit his workshop as we benefited from his passion, experience and expertise. He showed us strictly (almost in dance mode) the importance of direction in entering and exiting and made us think about where our door furniture should and should not go. We talked about security, light and visibility factors, the side panels and the lead times for delivery. He has excellent contacts who crafted elegant bespoke glazed side panels that set off the warmth solidity and beauty of the oak door. The end result -kerb appeal - simply stunning work of art that stops people in their tracks! We then decide whether they may enter or not. A unique stylish door delivered door to door in good time. It puts a smile on our faces whenever we come home. Can't recommend his work highly enough. Thank you Brian.

  The best way to describe one of Brian's handcrafted doors is a thing of beauty! He is a master Craftsman and buying one of his doors will give your house true character that you won't get with a shop bought door or the dreaded PVC door. I would really recommend that anyone considering a new door pay Brian a visit where they can see first hand how his masterpieces are constructed. You won't want to go else where for a door! Brian gave us some really good advice on the best materials for our dream door and he was also able to build it exactly to our specifications. He also offered to provide us with a free bolt instead of a knocker which we didn't want. Brian thanks so much for our lovely door we love it!! Luke & Helen

  Wow! What an amazing service. Brian was brilliant from start to finish, giving us tips and ideas on what would work well. Nothing was too much trouble and he even came back after the door was all fitted to fit a plinth that he had made as there was a small gap between our hallway floor tiles and the frame of the door. Can’t recommend Brian enough! We are absolutely delighted with the finished product and have had so many compliments on our new door.

  We approached Brian to commission a custom made front door and glass panel above to restore our Victorian property. We are so happy with the outcome as Brian's craftsmanship is phenomenon. It was a difficult job as our house is so old but they've done it so skilfully. And the aftercare service is amazing also as Brian & Cliff came back a couple more times post installation to adjust the door as it settled throughout the year (due to extreme changes in the weather!). We would definitely use BD Joinery again for our next project.

  Brian and the team were really helpful. We went to them with a design for a solid oak door and with a sample from a new garage so they could match it. The quality of the work was first class and they perfectly matched the garage door. Could not recommend them highly enough

  Having read the reviews, seen the images and spoken to Brian I was confident that I was going to get a great product but I must say the service was excellent from start to end. Brian was extremely patient and helpful during the design phase which can’t have been easy for him but he made it easy for me! And the final product...? PERFECTION.
