It was such a pleasure to deal with Brian, and he did a fabulous job with our door, making one to perfectly fit our requirements. It's changed the whole feel of our house for the better. I was amazed how quickly and efficiently the whole process went, and recommend him 100%.

We absolutely love our oak front door. You can see that Brian has taken time and effort to create such a stunning feature door. We can throughly recommend Brian's services. First class, thank you again!

Outstanding service and a quality final product! Brian was nothing but a pleasure to deal with. He clearly comes with a wealth of experience and made various suggests to make the final result as good as it could be. We had 3 on site visits during the process to discuss the finer detail and also went to Brian's workshop to see the work in progress. Highly recommend if you get the chance! Nothing was too much for Brian - he even salvaged the stain glass from our old door and made it into a wall hanging! We can't speak highly enough of The Front Door Shop and would recommend to anyone in Leigh on Sea or surrounding area.

We had a particularly tricky problem with our door - our 1934 house is not level and true and our existing front door was so out of plumb I could put my finger in between the door and the frame in parts. A friend had recommended Front Door Shop as she'd seen one of their doors at someone's house. The process of choosing a door was quite straightforward and of course a bespoke door costs significantly more than a stock door shown on their site. My door took quite a bit of craftsmanship to fit it into the frame which was integrated into our house and curved in parts. Brian and his colleague did a very good job of creating a quality, solid feeling door which fits our space perfectly and now lets in light from the glass panel in the top. He was happy to re-use the old hardware from our old door which has matched well. We were given good quality locks and I am very happy with the door. I would recommend if you have a specific installation date in mind that you specify this very clearly at regular intervals as I have my door now when I really didn't want it until September at the end of my build. It is so lovely and I am worried it will get damaged between now and the end of our project, so if you have a specific date in mind you will need to be VERY clear about this rather than just mentioning it at the outset as I did. Having said all that I would still recommend this company as the quality of the work is excellent and follow up service appears to be very good - Brian popped in today to attend to a minor issue which had not been spotted on the installation day. We have a variation of the Tuscany door with plain leadlight glass, painted matte black on the outside and natural oak on the inside, and it looks beautiful.

Thank you to Brian (for making) and Brian and Martin (for fitting) our wonderful new bespoke hardwood front door in Blackheath, London. We are particularly happy with the custom design, which lets in so much light. The build quality and joinery is really good, with extra thick wood. Everything fits perfectly, and it swings shut with a solid click, just like a high end BMW (I imagine!). Good attention to security with triple locks and toughened double glazed units. Brian and Martin made a couple of initial site visits to measure up, discuss designs, and check the process for removing the old and fitting the new doors. There was a personal touch throughout, with good communication. The build was completed on time, and the fitting carried out in a day (as promised). The overall price was extremely good value compared with quotes from London companies for less high spec products. So we are very happy, and would definitely recommend Brian, Martin/ The Front Door Shop/ BD Joinery to anyone looking for a new high quality door.

I can't recommend Front door shop highly enough. Michael helped me with the design of my front door and advised on door furniture. I am extremely pleased with the result.

What a fab service.Came down to Kent twice to measure and survey. I love my new door.Real craftsmanship. Worth every penny and I have not stopped smiling!!!.

Extremely happy with our new front door. Brian provided expert advice so that we got the exact style of door that we had been looking for. He was also able to make the side panel bespoke to match the overall design and kept in touch throughout the process to ensure we were happy with the details before installation. The door was fitted quickly and expertly with a professional eye for detail so that the completed job looks outstanding. We are so pleased with the quality of the door and the service provided by Brian we would highly recommend The Front Door Shop to anyone looking for a new door.

Brian made and fitted a replacement solid oak door and frame for me in late 2018. I live at a very exposed location, on a hill, subject to the extremes of weather. In spring 2019, Brian returned to further weather-proof the door and make minor adjustments and did so again in autumn 2020. This later work was outside the terms of the guarantee but he made no quibble about returning to do it. He takes great pride in his work and achieves high quality at reasonable cost. I thoroughly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a high quality bespoke product.

We had a door and the wide surrounding frame made. Brian did all the measurements and the frame and door fitted perfectly. The finished job is of a very high standard; we are delighted with it and everyone who sees it is very impressed.
