I couldn't be more impressed with my new front door. From start to finish, the service, quality and communication was impeccable. I had spent weeks considering other providers, however there was always something missing. After speaking with Brian, I was completely reassured as he was knowledgeable and friendly. My new door is of excellent quality wood, was fitted by an expert joiner, and he left my house spotless afterwards. Definitely a service to recommend.

A real pleasure to deal with Brian and a quality craftsman, our door is a work of art. Thanks

Brian created our lovely new door and was fabulous from start to finish. He gave us progress updates along the way and pictures of the door being made and was great on site. Turned up when they said, did a great job, lovely attention to detail with the mastic matching the grey door frame, quality locks. And the door itself looks just amazing. Now to render the house to finish the look! Thanks Brian.

Thank you to Brian (for making) and Brian and Martin (for fitting) our wonderful new bespoke hardwood front door in Blackheath, London. We are particularly happy with the custom design, which lets in so much light. The build quality and joinery is really good, with extra thick wood. Everything fits perfectly, and it swings shut with a solid click, just like a high end BMW (I imagine!). Good attention to security with triple locks and toughened double glazed units. Brian and Martin made a couple of initial site visits to measure up, discuss designs, and check the process for removing the old and fitting the new doors. There was a personal touch throughout, with good communication. The build was completed on time, and the fitting carried out in a day (as promised). The overall price was extremely good value compared with quotes from London companies for less high spec products. So we are very happy, and would definitely recommend Brian, Martin/ The Front Door Shop/ BD Joinery to anyone looking for a new high quality door.

I had my new front door installed today, it is simply stunning, Brian is such a pleasure to deal with, he is a true professional I can’t fault his work at all and I would highly recommend! Thank you for doing such a fantastic job we are over the moon with the finish.

Wow! What an amazing service. Brian was brilliant from start to finish, giving us tips and ideas on what would work well. Nothing was too much trouble and he even came back after the door was all fitted to fit a plinth that he had made as there was a small gap between our hallway floor tiles and the frame of the door. Can’t recommend Brian enough! We are absolutely delighted with the finished product and have had so many compliments on our new door.

We found Brian's website via Google and thought his range of doors looked interesting. We rang him to discuss our project. We needed a door that would give a face lift to our renovation -a dilapidated bungalow that had lain empty for more than 5 years. We had an aperture with dimensions out of the normal that needed to be met. He spoke knowledgeably about the woods and the methods he used and invited us to his workshop to view the processes. Our question was would he be able to deliver the finished product to us as he wasn't local? Luckily he confirmed that he liked to deliver the finished products himself all part of his continuous care package. We were intrigued and very glad to visit his workshop as we benefited from his passion, experience and expertise. He showed us strictly (almost in dance mode) the importance of direction in entering and exiting and made us think about where our door furniture should and should not go. We talked about security, light and visibility factors, the side panels and the lead times for delivery. He has excellent contacts who crafted elegant bespoke glazed side panels that set off the warmth solidity and beauty of the oak door. The end result -kerb appeal - simply stunning work of art that stops people in their tracks! We then decide whether they may enter or not. A unique stylish door delivered door to door in good time. It puts a smile on our faces whenever we come home. Can't recommend his work highly enough. Thank you Brian.

Brian helped design our new front door, and all the way to installation provided progress updates and asked questions in order to ensure we got exactly what we intended. The end result is that we could not be happier! Brian's attention to detail is second-to-none which all adds to the finish, the quality surpassing that which could be bought off the shelf. Installation was also achieved with minimum fuss and disruption to property and lead time was half of that being quoted elsewhere. Great craftsmanship coupled with great service.

We absolutely love our oak front door. You can see that Brian has taken time and effort to create such a stunning feature door. We can throughly recommend Brian's services. First class, thank you again!

A pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Brian very quick to respond to any questions we had regarding choice of door etc. Very patient as we couldn’t decide initially! On the day of fitting our door he arrived on time and proceeded to uninstall the old door and refit the new one. All rubbish cleared all we have to do now is paint! Thanks again we’re very pleased.
