I can not speak highly enough of Brian and all the team at The Front Door Shop ! I needed a bespoke made front door in oak for a porch I had built, and I was blown away with the finished result ! Hand made oak frame and glazed door, with old school style opening top window ( not something you'll ever get off the shelf anywhere ). I visited Brian's factory mid build to check on progress with my door, and by being shown around the workshop and other projects for other customers I could see the guys we're master craftsman ! The front door shop provide a supply and fit service, and I can honestly say my front door opens and closes as good and elegantly as any super car door in the world !!!   I contacted the Front Door Shop as well as several other specialists when I needed a replacement double front door at my house. Brian from The Front Door Shop came to my house to inspect the requirements and gave me a competetive price and timeline for the installation of some solid Oak double doors and a bespoke Oak Frame. The service I received at every step of the process was exceptional. The fit and finish of the doors and sidelights is brilliant. It is a vast improvement over the modern Aluminium doors that were previously installed. I have to mention that where Brian & The Front Door Shop really excelled was in taking on a job that 3 other specialists had declined due to the complexities of installation (basically my front door is at first floor level situated within a Porch and is reached by a set of stairs) Brian not only took on the job but there was no harm or damage to the surrounding Porch and entranceway, this is where the other specialists had concerns. It is not often, nowadays, to come across a caring and skilled craftsman who takes huge pride in his work as a skilled Joiner.   The best way to describe one of Brian's handcrafted doors is a thing of beauty! He is a master Craftsman and buying one of his doors will give your house true character that you won't get with a shop bought door or the dreaded PVC door. I would really recommend that anyone considering a new door pay Brian a visit where they can see first hand how his masterpieces are constructed. You won't want to go else where for a door! Brian gave us some really good advice on the best materials for our dream door and he was also able to build it exactly to our specifications.   Brian helped design our new front door, and all the way to installation provided progress updates and asked questions in order to ensure we got exactly what we intended. The end result is that we could not be happier! Brian's attention to detail is second-to-none which all adds to the finish, the quality surpassing that which could be bought off the shelf. Installation was also achieved with minimum fuss and disruption to property and lead time was half of that being quoted elsewhere. Great craftsmanship coupled with great service.

  Thank you to Brian (for making) and Brian and Martin (for fitting) our wonderful new bespoke hardwood front door in Blackheath, London. We are particularly happy with the custom design, which lets in so much light. The build quality and joinery is really good, with extra thick wood. Everything fits perfectly, and it swings shut with a solid click, just like a high end BMW (I imagine!). Good attention to security with triple locks and toughened double glazed units. Brian and Martin made a couple of initial site visits to measure up, discuss designs, and check the process for removing the old and fitting the new doors. There was a personal touch throughout, with good communication. The build was completed on time, and the fitting carried out in a day (as promised). The overall price was extremely good value compared with quotes from London companies for less high spec products. So we are very happy, and would definitely recommend Brian, Martin/ The Front Door Shop/ BD Joinery to anyone looking for a new high quality door.
